Green recomendations, guidelines

Recommendations

The Recommendations issued by the Financial Stability Board are the means of transposing the non-binding legal instruments issued in accordance with Section 13 (2) (i) of Act CXXXIX of 2013 on the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) and the guidelines and recommendations of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESMA, EBA, EIOPA, ESRB). The aim of the recommendations is to increase the predictability of the application of the law, to promote the uniform application of the relevant EU and national legislation, and to present the principles and methods proposed by the MNB.

The recommendations are addressed to institutions and market participants supervised by the MNB. Compliance with the recommendations is examined and assessed by the MNB, acting in its supervisory capacity.
