Green finance scientific research initiative

To apply for the Green Finance Scientific Research Initiative call, a research plan and a current research agenda of high scientific quality must be submitted in the field of green finance. A research plan may be submitted by a researcher of Hungarian nationality or an institution with legal personality based in Hungary, or by a group of researchers without legal personality consisting of several researchers of Hungarian nationality.
A panel of academics and individual members of the Monetary Council, the Green Finance Academic Council, is free to decide which rankings to allocate. In addition to the award, the MNB may propose the conclusion of a contract corresponding to the subject of the research plans awarded to the winner of the respective award in cases where the central bank considers its implementation to be justified and clear.
